In a recent Chart Room discussion, Tom Daly catches up with transformation leader Gloriana Teh who shared one of her most impactful project: Driving a Fortune 500 company through a digital rebirth under tight pressure, tight budgets, and tighter timelines.

The Challenge

Gloriana was brought in mid-stream to assist with a large-scale global product portfolio initiative. Although the program had been running for over a year, it was still $10 million short of its cost-saving goal—and just beginning its digital transformation journey.

The Turning Point

Her first step? Unify a fragmented team. “It felt like two different teams,” she recalled. By breaking silos between departments like R&D and operations, she fostered collaboration that had previously stalled.

Data as a Bridge

But structure wasn't enough. Gloriana introduced best-in-class data visualization tools and reinforced project management practices. Not only did these tools meet their financial goals, but the cultural shift led other groups within the company to adopt the same approach.

What We Learned

  1. Meet people where they are: Transformation is emotional as much as it is structural.

  2. Make the vision actionable: Break the future into tangible steps.

  3. Embed change into existing systems: Make transformation feel familiar, not foreign.

The Bigger Picture

This experience reflects the foundation of what The Transformation Guild promotes: closing the gaps in confidence and alignment that often derail transformation initiatives.
